Boardwalk Design is especially committed to the renovation of historic homes in the Rochester area.  As a member of Pittsford’s Architecture Review Board Boardwalk’s President Paul Zachman is dedicated to taking historically sensitive homes and restoring them in a way that seamlessly blends the original historic character of each house with the modern comfort that you expect from a renovation.  Through thorough research we are able to use both traditional and contemporary techniques to preserve historic integrity and provide added value and longevity to your period home.  This can be achieved in many ways such as the use of historically accurate window and siding repair, or even the restoration of features, such as a front porch, that have been removed or changed through the years.  Our goal is to bring each home back to the peak of its original state through the meticulous preservation of its own historical fabric.
